Hoops for Hope
Hope at the Brick House (Davenport) and Heart of Hope (Rock Island) are hosting a night of family fun fundraiser. Both of these missions serve underprivileged kids in their neighborhoods: After school, food, clothes and field trips. Both Lynda Sargent (Heart of Hope) and Joyce Klopp (Hope at the Brick House) are devoted, sincere warm, caregivers.
Hoops for Hope is a fundraiser that will benefit both missions. It is premier exhibition, comedy basketball (like the Harlem Globetrotters) with a team called Flight Squad. Our team will be made up of coaches and teachers from Davenport and Rock Island schools.
The game will be September 28, 2019 at Davenport Central George Marshall gymnasium. Game time is 6:00. There will be half time fun and an autograph session with the Flight Squad after the game.
