Kink 201: D/s - Playing with Power
Domination & submission (or D/s) describes a wide variety of play and relationship dynamics that have deliberate, negotiated power exchange at their core. In this class, we will explore how to wield power and polarity to supercharge your scenes and deepen your relationships.
We will cover:
- Finding your power on either side of the slash - D/s archetypes, roles, and roleplay - Negotiating to co-create hot, consensual power exchange - Seducing submission for fun and pleasure - Guiding your Dominant towards successful leadership - Dynamics in long-term D/s relationships
And much more!
Whether you're brand new to D/s or you've been doing this a long time, you're sure to learn something valuable and gain new perspectives.
This series welcomes all genders, orientations, and dynamic styles. This workshop is designed for folks who have some familiarity with BDSM, but is open to all levels of experience. If you're brand new, please do check out our BDSM Negotiation Basics workshop at 1pm the same day.
PRESENTERS:
Miriam Green has been in the public kink scene for over one dozen years in the Austin, Houston and San Francisco scenes. They teach a series of KINK 101 classes on the SF kink community, BDSM negotiations and dating while kinky. They also are the owner of Wicked Grounds, San Francisco's first and only kink cafe & boutique.
impossiblepain is a switchy sadomasochist who enjoys playing with pain and power. They spread the good news of kink at various San Francisco classes and munches. They kink to experience connection and to laugh at the darkness, and because its just feels good.
ACCESS:
Please note that the Wicked Grounds Annex space at 293 8th St is ADA friendly once upstairs, but stairs are the only means of ingress and egress to the Wicked Grounds Annex space. If you have any questions, please message the event organizers and we will do our best to answer them!
