Jenny Don't & The Spurs / Night of Siren Songs
Jenny Don't and The Spurs, Whitney Monge` and Gina Belliveau are going to inspire your souls with their magnetic, female led performances! Mark your calendars, this is going to be a show that you do not want to miss!
Portland band Jenny Don't and the Spurs. While the sound of the Spurs is original and draws from deep wells of personal experience, the band pays stylistic homage to the greats of the genre Patsy Cline, Ernest Tubb, Hank Williams Sr., Loretta Lynne, and all the rest of the real players from the 1940s and 50s - an era where the lines between Rock'n'Roll and Country were blurred, where the likes of Elvis Presley, Johnny Cash, and Carl Perkins could tour together and nobody would bat an eye.
Angela Soffe is an award-winning singer-songwriter and performer in Yakima, Washington. Known for her soaring vocals and gentle folk melodies, she has amassed a devoted fan base in the Pacific Northwest. Her recent album, "Second Wind" was an independent move out of the quiet of personal darkness, making a bold return to music after 8 years away. Skope Magazine calls her music, "timeless, with a message that truly resonates." Her new single, "Rocks" hit the ground running in 2018, garnering the attention of music gatekeepers who noted that her poignant lyrics created a social stir. "We hear an artist that is breaking new ground in her own way" says Independent Artist Buzz. She and her 4-piece band, (Angela Soffe Band) perform Americana nuggets in every venue, bringing a breath of freshness to their fans. The band has garnered accolades and awards for performances brimming with understated roots music virtuosity, and boundless creativity. Gina Belliveau is a Seattle-based musician who plays solo mostly- percussive acoustic folk with an achilles heel for ridiculous pop cover tunes (www.reverbnation.com/ginabelliveau). Her ever expanding repertoire runs the gamut from Billie Holiday to Billie Jean. With an adaptable sound to fit any room, she has played at raucous bars, mellow wine bars, art auctions, as well as corporate events for Microsoft, Silver City Brewery, Hard Rock Cafe, Wild Waves Theme Park, among others. Most recently, she worked on a couple cruise contracts with Holland America Line, adding 'on top of a hot tub in the middle of the ocean' to her list of most bizarre performance locales.
