A Gift of the Heart - Songs of Enchantment
Following the tremendous success of its debut benefit concert last October, the Sierra Community Chorus is once again partnering with Adventure Christian Church and Auburn Grace Community Church to present an inspiring program, this year titled, "A Gift of the Heart - Songs of Enchantment." This must-see concert is filled with exciting music for the entire family, performed by 100 auditioned choral singers from throughout the area, as well as invited soloists and instrumentalists. Listen to beautiful selections from "The Lion King," "Phantom of the Opera," "Jekyll and Hyde," "Beauty and the Beast," "Mary Poppins," and much more!
The Sierra Community Chorus is an organization of 70 singers of all ages from communities surrounding Sierra College in Rocklin, California, under the direction of Lorin Miller and accompanied by Diana Murray Tudsbury. This acclaimed group performs a wide variety of choral music, from well-known show tunes to classical masterpieces, before typically sold out crowds in late spring and in December, as well as selected special appearances. The Sierra Community Chorus has come to be regarded as one of the premiere groups within the performing arts communities of Placer County and beyond. All proceeds from "A Gift of the Heart - Songs of Enchantment" will go to The Gathering Inn and Acres of Hope.
Attending this concert is a wonderful way to support two worthy causes, giving back to those in need. Performances will be held Saturday, October 4th at 7:30pm, and Sunday, October 5th at 4:00pm in the Adventure Christian Church Performing Arts Center, 6401 Stanford Ranch Road, Roseville, CA. Tickets are $25 for adults and $12 for youth 18 and under. This will be a memorable musical experience you won't want to miss!
