FQ08 Workshop - Learning to Play Duets
You will learn how to play many different styles of duets. Includes information on blending, playing in 5ths and 3rds, entrainment, and how to be successful at duets and ensemble playing. The Cherokee morning song played as a round and the Flute Circle Song by Ward Stroud will also be covered. Excellent for livening up flute circles! Handouts will be provided. A section on duetiquette will be included. No experience required. Taught by Stephanie Baldridge and Shadrack Sandvold. Presented by Washington Flute Circle, www.waflutecircle.com.
