Advanced Baking Camp

From pastries to pies to mousses and lava cakes, students will brainstorm and vote on what they want to learn to make. Exploring the importance of local ingredients, scratch cooking and natural preservatives, we will discuss the science of baking and the roles ingredients play in making our baked goods. While our confections are cooking, we will practice dough kneading, rolling, and forming and play with different frosting tips and decorating techniques. Students end the week by making dinner that will be baked at home to be enjoyed by their families!  

**Students taking advanced baking should have taken a previous baking class and need a strong understanding of measurements and how to following a recipe.

For: 3rd grade and up,  
When: Mon - Fri , 9am - 12pm  
**Drop-off 8:30am - 9am & pick-up 12pm - 12:30pm
Dates: Aug 5th - 9th  
Cost: $250

*make it an all-day campand register for Cooking Around the World (save $100 when registering for both classes)
