Leah Asher- violin, viola, composer Modeled on the themes of Leah Ashers first solo album, Retreat into Afters, Leahs solo improvisations use a variety of extended techniques to explore intricate textures, unexpected sonic effects, and rich harmonic spaces on acoustic violin. The set is comprised of a number of short 'movements' with distinct textural ideas that are then weaved together into a larger form.

Anomylos Ensemble- with Amos Fisher and guests Amos Fisher comes to us from a counterpoint of simultaneous perspectives. Whether leading his anti-chamber Anomylos Ensemble, covering Beethoven in his prog-punk band Continue, improvising clarinet, voice & electronic sounds in psychedelic multimedia group AA/VC, drumming & orchestrating for Tanya Donovans redemptive dream rock band Tower+Star, playing hiphop drums, or accompanying musique concrete as underscore for experimental theater, Amos tends to wear his heart on his sleeve, all influences palpable and thoroughly integrated.
Feeding Goats- with Michael Hafftka, Yonat Hafftka, Cameron Mizell, and Natalia Steinbach
Michael Hafftkas music has been released by Pittsburgh-based label Six Gallery, and New York-based labels Pitch and Composers Concordance/Naxos, the latter with Feeding Goats. His artwork is included in the permanent collections at The Metropolitan Museum of Art, Museum of Modern Art, Brooklyn Museum of Art, San Francisco Museum of Modern Art, Carnegie Museum of Art, National Gallery of Art, and other museums worldwide. New York Fox5 recently produced a feature on him that has been syndicated to over 250 local affiliate news stations. Learn more at hafftka.com.
Yonat Hafftka plays with Feeding Goats on various instruments including steel drums, harmonium, prepared violin, flutes, and theremin. Her collection of poems, SUM, was published by Six Gallery Press in 2008.
Cameron Mizells music ranges from Americana-inspired jazz, jazz-funk, and avant-garde experimentalism. He has released six albums as a leader. The latest, a solo guitar recording titled Memory/Imagination, was praised by Americana magazine No Depression as an eclectic collection of songs, reflecting on Mizells penchant for melody, as well as exploring his most forward-thinking aspirations.
