CINDERELLA
Act I Cinderella is sweeping the kitchen floor and daydreaming about how happy she was when her mother was alive. Her daydreams quickly fade when Cinderellas mean stepsisters demand her to make them breakfast. After breakfast, Cinderellas step sisters are shouting with excitement because they've received a letter from the palace. The letter turns out to be an invitation to the Princes Royal Ball where the prince is expected to choose his bride. Sadly Cinderella's stepmother tells her she won't be going. The sisters leave to order their gowns for the ball. Cinderella is left alone as once again she remembers and takes out a dress that belonged to her mother. Doorbell rings and the sisters gowns have arrived. As the girls leave to change, the ghost of Cinderella's mother appears with 3 magic fairy godmothers. They present her with 3 gifts, a gown, a crown and magic glass slippers. Cinderella has even more help from her little friends; the mice, the fire flies and the fairies, as they transform Cinderella and her pumpkin so she can make it to the ball, but she must be back before midnight when everything will return to its original form. Act II At the Princes Royal Ball, Cinderellas step-family arrives late. While the stepsisters try to get the Princes attention, three Royal Princesses and their ladies in waiting arrive and perform to win the Princes affection. Suddenly Cinderella steps foot into the Ball room. The Prince is captivated by her beauty and barely gives the stepsisters and the princesses his attention. Nobody knows who the mysterious girl is, not even Cinderellas step-family. Cinderella and the Prince dance causing Cinderella to forget about her midnight deadline. As the clock starts to chime, she realizes she must go before her clothes turn to rags. She quickly leaves without explanation and in her hurry, leaves a slipper behind. The Prince chases after her, but only finds the single glass slipper. Act lll The next day, the Prince, unable to stop thinking about Cinderella, orders a kingdom-wide search to find her. He travels from house to house with the glass slipper and has each girl try it on. If the slipper fits it must be the mysterious girl he danced with the night before. When the Prince arrives at Cinderellas house he is greeted by the obnoxious stepsisters. The stepsisters try on the slipper , but it does not fit. During that time, Cinderellas stepmother locked her in a room so she couldnt try on the slipper. The Prince finds out that there is still one more girl in the house. The prince finds her and she tries on the slipper. It is a perfect fit. The Prince takes Cinderella with him to his castle. A royal wedding takes place at the palace and Cinderella and the Prince live happily ever after. The End
