Brave New Players MACBETH
A production of Shakespeare's spooky, cursed tragedy, MACBETH, complete with witches, ghosts, dancing, and sword fighting!
Brave New Players is an educational Shakespearean theater program for homeschooled youth ages 10-18 in its inaugural year, operated by the non-profit LGBTQIA+ inclusive organization, Brave New Shakespeare, under the direction of Molly Booth.
Student actors choose the pronouns they want to use for their characters. Roles can take on new interpretations, including LGBTQIA+ romance. Our student actors also get to decide what kind of gender expression they want to use for their characters' costume. We delve into these new dynamics through intentional discussion.
The result is brave new Shakespeare plays!
