Chants pour la Terre - SADB

A rare chance to hear two excellent choirs, both based in Sainte-Anne-de-Bellevue. SAS will perform works by Runestad, Antognini, Ticheli, Pärt and Dubra, and Canadian composers Don Macdonald and Jean-Charles Côté, while the McGill Conservatory Youth Choir will present music celebrating our relationship with the Earth. The choirs will join together to present four Canadian works by Oscar Peterson, Lydia Adams and Paul Halley. The audience is invited to mingle with the singers at a reception after the concert.

Une occasion rare d'entendre deux excellentes chorales basées à Sainte-Anne-de-Bellevue. L'Ensemble vocal Sainte-Anne présentera des oeuvres de Runestad, Antognini, Ticheli, Pärt et Dubra ainsi que des compositeurs canadiens Don Macdonald et Jean-Charles Côté. La Chorale des jeunes du Conservatoire McGill de sa part offrira des oeuvres qui célèbrent notre relation avec la Terre. Les deux chorales uniront leurs voix pour présenter quatre oeuvres canadiennes par Oscar Peterson, Lydia Adams et Paul Halley. Les membres de l'auditoire sont invités à une petite réception après le concert.
