It was March when we walked into the Bryant Lake Bowl. It was filled with smoke, which was weird given the Minnesota Clean Indoor Act, but even through the haze, we could feel the tension. It was almost as if the audience was waiting for something. Something sinister. Something scary. Something offensive. And we would give it to them. Because we had no choice. But they would pay. Oh yes, they would pay.
