Not So Invisible Now
Join us on the 3rd March to celebrate International Women's Day 2019 and the life of Jane Fortune, the founder of non-profit Advancing Women Artists who died in September 2018. We will be screening the 'Invisible Women' documentary, Emmy Award winner in the Cultural/Historical Program category in 2013, based on Jane Fortunes book, Invisible Women: Forgotten Artists of Florence.
This will be followed by a talk from Tina Gue about the inspiration for her photography exhibition - This is Us. Tina will share some of the images and inspirational stories collated during her mission to catalogue positive images of 150 women aged 40+ embracing life. Tina's exhibition runs at the Vestibules from March 2nd - 8th.
