Is there anything as beautiful or ephemeral as springtime? Join artist, Paetra Tauchert, in the charming Ethnobotany Library to drop deeply into illustrating a piece of spring to keep all year. Using a combination of colored pencils and pan pastels, we will draw from a specimen of lush springtime beauty.

This class is part one of a three-part series. You may take the classes separately or purchase all three together to receive a discount (select "series" option on this page).
All classes take place at Botanical Dimensions' Ethnobotany Library, located in lovely downtown Occidental.

Classes are $80 each or $225 for the series. Price includes some materials (graphite pencils, erasers, sharpeners, drawing board, and paper) - see list below of what you will need to bring.
Note: If you don't already have the following materials, it is only necessary to purchase them once (can be used for the whole series). When you sign up for the class you will receive further details about where we recommend to purchase these items.
PENCILS: Either Faber-Castells or Prismacolors- when selecting the Faber-Castells, go by the number as they often change the names. Prismacolors use names not numbers. Pencils average about $2.50 each

*Cancellation policy: Full refunds can only be granted if attendee notifies Botanical Dimensions of withdrawal 10 business days in advance of the day of the class (or the first day of the series). If attendee gives less notice, we regret that no refund is possible. If Botanical Dimensions needs to cancel a class for any reason, we will notify you as soon as possible (at least 1 day prior to the event) and you will receive a full refund.
