Washington Creative Districts Convening & Planning Workshop on March 4 2019
Please join us for the first ever Washington State Creative Districts gathering and planning workshop. This workshop is designed to help people who are interested in bringing a Creative District to their community with their planning and engagement efforts.
ArtsWA is working with the Creativity Lab of Colorado to bring a Washington-specific Creative Districts training curriculum to our state. Joining us for this workshop will be Bill Marino and Kevin Yoshida of the Lab, who will be leading attendees through our curriculum.
You will learn strategies to:
Align stakeholders around a clear vision
Collaborate amongst creatives, business owners, and municipalities
Learn how to do self-assessment that will translate into strategic planning efforts
Map out a visioning process for community engagement
You will also meet other folks from potential (and current) Creative Districts around the state, to share, learn and grow together.
