Stand-Up Tragedy (an evening of tragic variety)
Part cabaret, part variety show, part performance-driven cathartic frenzy welcome back to Berlin's one and only
Stand-Up Tragedy: an evening of tragic variety
Monday, Feb 25 * 8pm (doors at 7) Lovelite, Haasestr 1, Berlin Tickets: €8/adv, €10/door
Stand Up Tragedy makes you sad; we make you think; we make you smile. Expect storytelling, comedy, video, puppets, and more, all playing up to the tragic form but not always taking it seriously. The night ends, not with a whimper, not with a bang, but with a cathartic sing-a-long.
In the slowly unclenching heart of winter, what better to get us in that tragic mood than the theme of "FAMILY." Oh, no.
Performers - Duckie L'Orange (cabaret + puppetry) - Liliana Velásquez (tawdry tales of family secrets) - Marne Litfin (comedy that cuts deep) - Popo Fan (storytelling + video about family and coming out) ... plus more TBA
with your tragic host, Cameryn Moore ("Yes, I do more than smut. <sigh>")
