Dukesbay Productions' AGNES OF GOD
Dukesbay Productions presents John Pielmeier's drama AGNES OF GOD. AGNES tells the story of a novice nun who gives birth to a baby who is found strangled to death. Sister Agnes insists that the child was the result of a virgin conception and claims no memory of the birth. A court-appointed psychiatrist and the mother superior of the convent clash during the resulting investigation.
So many questioned unanswered. So many things that cannot be explained. Was this murder or a miracle?
AGNES OF GOD runs March 1-17, at The Dukesbay Theater. It features the acting talents of Laurie Sifford as Mother Miriam Ruth, Maria Valenzuela as Dr. Livingstone and Cecilia Lewis as the novice Agnes. It is directed by Nyree Martinez.
