https://www.facebook.com/LeanOverShow Directly from the minds of Karen Bergreen, Cynthia Kaplan (former Beacon parent!), and Lisa Cohen: three over-educated, under-appreciated women who have been around the block a few times and maybe have some axes to grind. Join them as they dissect their lives, your lives, and anything in the room that moves. There will be comedy, music, special guests including Roy Wood Jr. https://www.roywoodjr.com from The Daily Show and alcohol. If you love Samantha Bee or Lewis Black, youll love Lean Over (only slightly less*).

KAREN BERGREEN is a nationally recognized stand up comic, has made several appearances in both seasons of The Jim Gaffigan Show. She has appeared on The View, Comedy Central, Nick Moms, the Oxygen Network, The TV Guide Network, House Hunters, The Joy Behar Show, and Law & Order. Karen has been invited twice to perform at HBOs U.S. Comedy Arts Festival in Aspen Colorado and The Great American Comedy Festival at the Johnny Carson Theatre in Norfolk Nebraska. Karen has written two comic novels, Following Polly and Perfect is Overrated, which have earned praise from The New York Times, Oprah Magazine, and her mother-in-law.

CYNTHIA KAPLAN is a comedian, actress, and the author of two acclaimed collections of comic essays, Why Im Like This: True Stories and Leave the Building Quickly. She has been published in many newspapers, magazines, and humor anthologies, and has written for both film and television. Her band, The Cynthia Kaplan Ordeal, plays in theaters and rock clubs throughout the country, including NYCs Joes Pub, City Winery, and the Cutting Room. Kaplan has written and performed TV theme songs and commercial jingles, her songs have won top prizes in international song contests and her music videos have appeared at comedy film festivals. She has never appeared on Law & Order.
