St. Paul AMEC is celebrating their 150th Church Anniversary with Harlem Nights: An Evening of Entertainment.
Comedy by Lisa Love. Random thoughts of comedy. Lisa has so many random things to say inside her head that are funny as all get out!! So she says what comes to mind.
Trumpeter Leslie Drayton and Friends will present a jazz concert featuring original compositions. The band includes Britney Bloom - keyboard, Corey Dozier - bass, Al Pagliuso - percussion, Marcus Alexander - drums, and Rodney Glover - saxophones.
Celebrate the occasion by dressing in your classy throwback outfit or dress to impress. Pearls, spats, gowns, etc. that represent the era are good choices. Don't be late as the evening will begin promptly at 6:00 p.m.
Adults only. There will be no ticket sales at the door.
The 150th Anniversary celebrations concludes on Sunday February 17 at 8:30 a.m. and 11:00 a.m. with worship at 1554 Gears Rd., Houston 77067. All are welcome at the conclusion.
