IVP Fundraiser and Swing Dance
February 15th from 7:00pm - 10:30pm, join IVP as we travel back in time.
In the 1930s, the kids in Germany protested Hitler by wearing their hair long, wearing colorful make up and clothing and a love for Swing. IVP wants to bring you back to a night of protest.
Your night begins with dressing right for the time period. Anytime between 7:00pm - 8:30pm
Let our IVP hair and make up artists style you up! Men can enjoy accessories such as suspenders and newbie caps for the night.
Now that you look great, it's time to play the part! Join StepsNYC teacher Spencer Weisbond at 8:00pm for a 30 minute free swing dancing lesson. Spencer has his own program in swing at the JCC in Manhattan for over 10 years and has taught for Lincoln Center's "Midsummer Night Swing."
And don't forget to capture the night at our photo booth. Chappetto Square photos will capture your moves and style throughout the night.
AND if that was not enough - there will be plenty of food, drinks and music!
All of this for just $25! That's hair and make up makeovers, fun accessories, photos, swing dance lessons and plenty of music, booze and laughter.
All the proceeds will benefit IVP's newest work, "Displeyst."
