KINKY YOGA with Lady Penny!
Join us for a delightfully invigorating afternoon of socializing and yoga at Sacred Muse! This gathering features food, drinks, and play at the beginning of the event and a 90-minute Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga class at the end. This practice will be led by certified yoga teacher, Lady Penny.
During the class, Lady Penny will be offering respectful hands- on adjustments to facilitate your yoga training. If you'd like spankings of encouragement, just wiggle your butt when she comes around! She will be also be available for Domme/Whip tastings before class to anyone interested on a first-come-first-serve basis!
This kinky yoga event is from 2pm 5:30pm. At 3:30pm, the transition from socializing to yoga will begin, and at this time everyone will be expected to wrap up their play scenes and clean up appropriately. The instructor has permission to interrupt any ongoing scenes that do not wrap up in a timely manner.
This is a come as you are, clothing optional, event. It is recommended that you do wear something breathable and flexible if you choose to rock your kink gear. Space is limited so get your tickets early!
Light, healthy bites and non-alcoholic beverages will be available in the Sacred Muse kitchen. Students will need to provide their own yoga mat and any blocks, belts, or bolsters that they would like to use. This is an initial pilot offering, and yoga props will be made available depending on the demand for the class.
About Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga:
Ashtanga Vinyasais a traditional yoga practice and can be very athletic. Students will be strongly encouraged to listen to their bodies and work within their limitations; yoga is a restorative practice, after all! Beginners are welcome, but good physical fitness and yoga experience are encouraged.
Ashtanga yoga is based on the teachings of the Yoga Sutras of Patanjali, which are over 4000 years old. Contrary to popular belief, yoga is a mental practice meant to improve a person's inner peace, mental acuity, and personal relationships. The physical practice, known as Asanas, is merely a vehicle to reach Samadhi, or a state of high consciousness. The Ashtanga Vinyasa Asanas taught are based on the 20th century teachings of Sri Pattabhi Jois of Mysuru, India.
Instructor Bio:
Lady Penny is a Yoga Alliance certified, registered Yoga School (RYS-200 hour) Ashtanga Vinyasa yoga teacher. She studied with All Yoga Thailand on Ko Pha-ngan island in the spring of 2018. Lady Penny has a true love for yoga, practices daily, and wants to share its amazing healing abilities with others. She is currently advancing her instruction skills at the Yoga Tree San Francisco's advanced yoga teacher (RYS-500) school.
Lady Penny is a service top/Domme Transwoman, a retired 15 U.S. Park Ranger and Emergency Medical Technician, 6-year Police Control Tactics/Martial Arts teacher with 20 commendations, including valor in the line of duty. Lady Penny has been involved in BDSM for 20 years. She has been an active member of the SF BDSM community since 2014, and a regular dungeon monitor at the SF Citadel.
Lady Penny has traveled internationally to 30 countries, is an honor graduate of the Federal Law Enforcement Training Center and holds a bachelors degree in Geography from California State University-Humboldt.
