Dusty Heart House Concert w/special guest Emily Haavik
Join Brian Melendez and friends of the Minnesota Music Coalition (MMC) for an intimate concert featuring a performance by rising Americana stars Dusty Heart, who are touring behind their new album, hailed by The Current as "chilling, resplendent Americana." Back by popular demand, we're pleased to present the acclaimed duo's only scheduled Minnesota show. Opening up will be MMC member artist Emily Haavik, who just released her new album with her band The 35s to wide acclaim. Hosted at Brian's home in Uptown Minneapolis, the event will include food, drinks and an opportunity to mingle with musicians, DJs and other local music celebs.
Tickets are $50 or two for $75 and include food and drinks. All proceeds benefit the MMC, the only statewide nonprofit devoted to serving musicians of all ages, genres and backgrounds. Music from 7:00-9:00 pm. Kids welcome.
Space is limited so reserve your spot today!
ABOUT DUSTY HEART: Rich vocal harmonies merge with intimate layers of guitar, fiddle and banjo to define the lush sound of Dusty Heart. Barbara Jean and Molly Dean are two songwriters recognized in their own right for their poetic lyrics and distinct vocal styles that when combined create a powerful and haunting sound that takes on a life of its own. Through their shared wanderlust and love of adventure, a passion for the open road, vast landscapes, and mutual love for musical harmony, the two decided to join forces and craft a sound that bridges together the diverse musical worlds of roots, indie, and folk.
