Brother Toaster w/ June Bloom
Brother Toaster is music from Waltham, MA. The music combines elements of slacker rock, psych rock, and jangle pop. Despite beginning its life as strictly a recording project, the act has also grown to include live band performances that offer a unique and energetic take on all the songs. Brother Toaster's fourth and most ambitious release, entitled "Chucky" was released April 20th, 2018. Brother Toaster is playing shows in support of the record across the Northeast USA in 2018.
June Bloom is a Psych/Pop/Rock solo project from Boston musician, Patrick Carr. Carr has played in numerous bands as a keyboardist, bassist, and guitarist since moving to Boston in 2010. June Bloom is a genre departure in addition to a change in role for Carr as sole songwriter, engineer, and producer. 2017 saw the release of Bloomin, a six-song EP recorded using acoustic guitars and drum machines layered with vintage keyboards and vocal harmonies. Carr has created a sound that is reminiscent of early Pink Floyd and The Zombies yet calls upon modern heroes like Animal Collective and Tame Impala. Patrick plans to continue to write and record new music in the next year and take these arrangements to a live setting. June Bloom features Charley Ruddell on Bass and Josh Strmic on drums.
