2019 WSU Oilseed Workshop - Clarkston
Whether you are considering growing canola for the first time, are a seasoned producer, a crop consultant, or affiliated with agencies or universities, we encourage you to attend our 2019 Oilseed Workshop in Clarkston, WA. We offer a full day of oilseed production tips with an emphasis on stand establishment, live plant diagnostics, planting and harvesting strategies, fertilizer management, marketing, variety selection, and much more. There will be a mix of general and breakout sessions with attendees divided into three groups for the breakout sessions. We have representatives from Univ of Idahoa and 7 seed companies from across North America for a panel discussion, another panel will feature reps from planter and drill manufacturers, and we are looking forward to hearing from Caydee Savinelli, Pollinator and IPM Stewardship Lead at Syngenta, who will share the latest updates about neonics and pollinators. Other speakers will be PNW growers, university faculty and grad students, and ag industry representatives. Registration includes lunch and all refreshments. The workshop will end with an industry sponsored social and informal Q&A with presenters and vendors.
