The Muckle Sing 2019
Love singing? Then come to THE MUCKLE SING 2019!
A very special day for community singing groups and individual singers, including a morning and afternoon workshops, performance platform and a short concert from our tutor, Jennifer Sterling.
All welcome - from the beginner to the experienced performer and no need to be able to read music.

The venue is fully accessible and close to train, bus and road links along the M9.
Performance Platform
An opportunity for community singing groups who wish to perform songs from their own repertoire for the entertainment of other participants. (No compulsion, very informal, and you are among friends!) Groups wishing to perform should prepare up to 3 songs. Preferably let us know in advance if your group wishes to perform.
Refreshments
Tea, coffee, juice, tap water and biscuits included in the workshop price.
We do not supply any food for purchase, so you may either bring what you prefer in your own packed lunches, or there are shops and a bakery just over the road, that sell filled rolls etc, and other local cafes/pubs.

Numbers are limited, so book early to avoid disappointment!
Thanks to financial support from West Lothian Council we have been able to reduce the cost from last year so tickets are only £17 or £12 concession (to include hot and cold drinks as above.)
Individual concession prices are available to TMSA members, students, over 60s, unemployed, disabled people and their helper.
As a group
Groups who ARE affiliated to the TMSA will be entitled to the concessionary rate for ALL participants in that group. If you are not sure if your group is affiliated or not, please check before booking with susan.streater@hotmail.co.uk or tel: 01506 843 592. You will need to fill in the postal booking and return with appropriate payment to book the places for your group available through www.eltmsa.org.uk
Groups NOT affiliated to the TMSA are NOT entitled to the concessionary rate for their group, but can apply as individuals, stating any other concession entitlement, and naming their group on the postal booking form.

How to get there
Car drivers: from the East, leave M9 (westbound) at J3, turn left at top of slip-road, and follow road into Linlithgow. Queen Margaret Hall (QMH) is on your right just before the (left) turn into Tescos car park. Plenty of car parking at Queen Margaret Hall (Tescos limited to 2 hrs so dont park there!)
From the West, leave M9 (Eastbound) at Junction 4, and follow signs into and through Linlithgow. At mini-roundabout at far end of High Street, (by Tescos) turn left on to Blackness Rd: QMH is about 200yds up on the left, just past (right) turn into Tescos car park: use the QMH car park.

Buses: frequent service to and from Edinburgh on 38 or X38. Get off near Tescos.
Trains: frequent service between Edinburgh Waverley/Haymarket and Glasgow Queen St. Queen Margaret Hall is a short walk from the station.
