In this gorgeous, gothic adaptation of the French fairy tale, Beauty and her Beast exist in a shadowy world of magic and poetry. Beauty must leave behind her aging father, audacious brothers, and self-absorbed sisters, and enter a dark castle filled with grotesque servants and their beastly master. Ultimately, she looks beyond the monster's ugliness and understands the transforming power of love.
