First Ever (Eco-Friendly) Pub Quiz Crawl!

Bring your brain, bring your liver, bring your teammates -- just make sure they're all on their A-Game. You're going to need it if you want to win BIG... Join the Pub Quiz Oregon crew for the first ever Pub Quiz Crawl featuring the environmentally friendly EcoShuttle with kegs of microbrew on board and a fun five-round Pub Quiz, taking place at five pubs around the Portland area. The winning team splits a big $350 cash prize, with prizes for the second and third place teams.
SCHEDULE:
First Shuttle Departure (from SW PDX): 2:30pm
Estimated Second Shuttle Departure (from NE PDX): 3:20pm
Estimated Third Shuttle Departure (from SE PDX): 3:50pm
Estimated Crawl Conclusion: 10pm
TICKETS - ONLY 75 SLOTS AVAILABLE FOR THIS EVENT AND MUST BE PURCHASED HERE. No tickets will be available at the weekly pub quizzes.
TICKETS ARE $27 per person
Ticket price includes hot meal, snacks and beverages on the bus, Eco-friendly transportation, entertainment, and quiz entry fee. What a deal!
DETAILS:
Your team of no more than FOUR will embark from one of three different locations around the Portland area. (You may indicate your preferred location upon ticket purchase). From there, you'll be given a food ticket good for a meal at ANY of the five pub locations, so YOU will choose where & when to chow down. The first round begins at the first pub crawl location, the first of your five round quiz. Each pub will also have a clue that will result in a cumulative answer at the end of the quiz. The final fifth round promises the live Name That Tune round (originally planned for last year's tournament!) and the answer to the five pub clue question, bound to wrap up a terrific day of food, brew, and friendly competition. Players will then be returned via shuttle to their originating locations.
CONTINGENCIES and SPECIAL REQUESTS:
Should an individual wish to be matched with a 3 person or less team, please indicate so on your ticket order. Teams open to having single players join their team should also indicate their willingness to do so on their order.
In the event the tickets run out during your order, we shall try to accommodate that team's players as best we can. No promises.
REFUNDS and the STAND-BY LIST:
Should the event sell out, we will place you and/or your team on the stand by list. Refund requests shall be honored until 11:59pm on 8/8/08. Teams on the stand by list shall be contacted by phone as soon as an availability arises.
