2019 ABA Beginning Beekeeping Course

The Ashland Beekeepers Association presents a four-session Beginning Beekeeping Course. This course is in partnership with the Virginia Beekeeping Teaching Consortium.
When: Four consecutive Saturdays- March 2, 9, 16, 23 - Starts each Saturday at 9 A.M. and will run to 4 p.m. thereabouts. (While each session may not run until 4, we are reserving the time to leave plenty of opportunity for the many questions and one-on-one talks with experienced beekeepers. Note: Lunch is not provided, so plan to bring your own, or pick something up during the hour break.
Location: First Baptist Church 800 Thompson St., Ashland, Virginia.
Registration fee includes 3 books, a USB drive contain file copies of all presentations and references, and a Ashland Beekeepers membership for 2019. One additional member of the same household may attend at no additional cost (one set of reference materials per household only). Minor children (below age of 18) must be accompanied by a paying adult. Minimum age is 12.
Registration:
Early registration has been extended by 1 week! Register by February 17 and SAVE $15.
Fee: $80. After February 17, fee is $95.
Registration ends February 23 or until full, whichever comes first.
If two are attending, please include each person's name when registering.

Directions:
First Baptist Church is located at 800 Thompson St., Ashland, VA 23005.
Take I-95 to Ashland, Take exit 92B to merge onto VA-54 W. Patrick Henry Rd toward Ashland, Approximately 1 mi, Continue around the right side of the building and park in the rear.
From US Rt 1, take VA-54W W. Patrick Henry Rd (England St through town) and follow directions from above.

Refund Policy:
A refund in available if we receive notification at least one day prior to start of class. If notified after classes have started, but purchaser has not attended any class, any refund will be up to the discretion of the ABA. No refunds if any session has been attended.
Any refund will be reduced by the card processing fee that covered in the registration fee. ($.99 + 3.5% of your total registration).
