Share this event:

Cheddar is the most widely made cheese in the world but it can be a far cry from the orange block you may be accustomed to! We'll explore the craft of artisanal cheesemaking and the complexities of the famous pressing process known as cheddaring with cheesemaker Sacha Laurin. Each student will make a cheddar to take home to age and enjoy and we will taste some other amazing cheddars in class and discuss what makes each one distinct.

Instructor: Sacha Laurin, Winters Cheese Company

This is a hands on cheesemaking class using vegetarian rennet.

Students will enjoy a sampling of cheeses, and a complimentary glass of wine will be offered to students 21 and over.
