MOCMs Ninth Festival Season is June 17-22, 2019 at the First Congregational Church of Webster Groves and the 560 Music Center in University City. Masterworks of the chamber music genre flourish alongside newer works by composer Hannah Lash as we celebrate the music of places, not only concrete ideas of place like home in Bedrich Smetanas From My Homeland, but in emotional ones, as in Leos Janaceks idealistic wind sextet, Mladi, (Youth). Be sure to come for tantalizing pieces by Debussy and Dvorak as well.
