Introduction to Outdoor Learning
One day training event designed for people working with pre school and 'early level' children up to aged 8. The day course will teach you the basics of getting children outdoors for play and learning, and why this is important for learning and development. This 'can-do' course will leave you will some practical skills for implementing outdoor learning.
You will learn
Theory around why outdoor learning is important
How to get started in taking a group outdoors
How to set up the environment for outdoor learning
Activities to foster outdoor learning and development
The course will include a starter backpack which includes your very own shelter, and other useful tools to help you implement outdoor learning immediately. You will also receive a certificate on completing the course.
