Bitcoin blockchain is an open ledger of peer-to-peer transactions. Blockchain incorporates novel ideas from public key encryption and distributed systems.
This presentation aims to provide a concise summary of Bitcoin from a graph analytics perspective, without assuming any prior knowledge. By looking at the building blocks of Bitcoin and explaining their interactions the presentation will demonstrate the process of translating the binary data structure of the Bitcoin blockchain into a property graph model. This model may allow more powerful graph analytics, such a address clustering and flow analysis in the bitcoin economy.
Our presenter: Chinkit is a software architect at Data To Decisions CRC. In his recent role as a scrum master he teams up with data scientists and software engineers to evaluate and build scalable tech to enable machine learning on large graphs. A blockchain enthusiast with broad experience in building distributed enterprise software in complex business environments.
