Kari Tauring is well known for her affinity to the cold and dark. A Nordic root musician, cultural educator, and spiritual leader, Tauring has led ritualized performances for the Winter Solstices since 1999. Everyone who undergoes the seasonal affects of Winter Solstice in the Northlands understands the need to both hibernate in dream time and celebrate in community. The balance of extremes play out most strongly at this time of the year. Join us as we learn to embrace the darkness and celebrate the coming of the light!
