SPE-PB Completions and Operations Study Group
Abstract: Water handling is a crucial portion of operations of unconventional completions and production. To ensure and improve safety and cost control, an efficient organization is necessary. This organization is comprised, in many companies, of drilling, completions, and water teams. An organizations efficiency is measured by delivering optimal safety and cost results with effective, streamlined communication while maintaining accurate data both within and between its teams. This presentation will cover details of one operators account in building and integrating a water handling team toward a measured continuous improvement of its organizations efficiency, safety, and lower costs.
