Wine Tasting and Star Gazing at Reverie Retreat

Join us for an intimate weekend of delicious cuisine, wine tasting and star gazing!

When you arrive on the afternoon of Saturday, August 10, you will have ample time to set up camp, explore the grounds of Reverie Retreat and enjoy an afternoon tasting from a local sierra foothill winery. Sunday we will visit several off-the-beaten-path wineries in the area, stopping along the way for a gourmet picnic lunch. The Perseid meteorite showers peak on Sunday night; when the moon sets we can gather together for some collective oohing and ahhing at the skies above. Monday morning we will offer a late brunch to prepare you for your departure. Please note that this is a camping event, and you need to bring your own gear. All meals, hydrating beverages, transportation to area wineries, and special tastings will be provided. Additional beer and wine will be available for purchase if you choose to imbibe beyond what the tastings provide. Massage therapy services will be available on-site and can be scheduled on a first come, first served basis (additional charges will apply). Details on schedule and logistics will be provided once confirmation of payment has been received. Space is very limited so please make your reservation early to ensure your spot.

About Reverie Retreat: Reverie Retreat is situated in the foothills of the Sierra Nevada, north of Placerville off of Hwy 193. The retreat covers 32 acres of manzanita, pine and oak trees, two ponds, an orchard, a burgeoning garden and views that are sure to inspire.

Founding members of Reverie Retreat: Tamara Johnston, Ramon Fliek, Stan Barrett and Liz Williams. Our collective skills include massage and physical therapy, yoga, acrobatics, bicycle mechanics, woodworking, gardening, design, fundraising, and IT services. We have a knack for creating delicious cuisine and enjoying great wine. We are excited and inspired to create a true retreat for family, friends, and friends we have yet to make. So come, join us for our inaugural wine tasting weekend, and get a taste of what Reverie has to offer.
