Wooden Heart Follies II: The Wooden Boy is the second musical using Tchaikovsky's Nutcracker Suite melodies with comic lyrics written for it. It brings to life nutcrackers from the Steubenville Nutcracker Village who must solve a mystery - and need the audience to help. This year there are three returning nutcrackers from the first one: The Mad Scientist, once again played by Dustin Scooter Heavilin, Miss Adelaide played by Nicole Janosco and St. Nicholas played by Martin Watjen. The new nutcrackers are Hairdresser Sue played by Gemma Nelson, Sherlock Holmes played by Gabe Nelson, Nurse Florence played by Tara Orsay, The Librarian Peggy Carnegie played by Jenna Johnson, Gepetto played by John Holmes, Pinocchio's voice by Von Holmes, Woody played by Dominic Weiss and The Buccaneer also played by Dustin Scooter Heavilin. Most of us have heard Tchaikovsky's Russian Dance ( Trepak ) from the Nutcracker Suite, but have you ever heard it with lyrics? This interactive holiday event will be part of your family memories for years to come.
