This tour will provide photographers with unique access to both restored and unreclaimed spaces inside one of Buffalo's most historic building complexes.
A brief walk through tour will provide context and familiarization, followed by a photography session with access to designated spaces in three buildings: the towers administration building and two flanking wards, including a ward attic and a basement area.
This special event is designed to accommodate those who have not been able to take photographs on our tours; we have changed our policy this year to not allow photography on regular tours, as it became a major safety issue and distracting to the other attendees.
Please note that the signing of a contract regarding license of the images is required to participate in the tour. This contract will be emailed to you upon your registration - if after reviewing the policy you wish to cancel your reservation, you may do so through Brown Paper Tickets within 48 hours for a full refund.
Although the Richardson Center Corporation must retain the copyright on all photography of the site, the photographs can be posted on the photographer's personal or professional websites or social media sites, or displayed to the public.
Optional: The Richardson requests that each photographer submit 3-5 photos for use (photo credit will be given).
Note: Lighting within the structure is photographer-friendly, and tripods are permitted.
