The Golden Age of Shane Rhyne
It's his 5th year of stand-up comedy and his 50th birthday! Join Shane Rhyne for an evening of laughs and midlife crisis as he celebrates these milestones by recording his debut comedy album in front of a live audience (you)!
In December 2013, Shane Rhyne jumped on to an open mic comedy stage for the first time. Five years later, he has enjoyed building a comedy career that has allowed to him to become the featured opener for Emo Philips, Jim Breuer, Laurie Kilmartin, Ben Kronberg, and more. He has also been an invited performer at comedy festivals across the country and has performed at shows such as the legendary Star Bar in Atlanta, Epic Comedy Hour in Huntsville, and a vacant lot in Jefferson City, Tennessee. He has produced more than 100 stand-up comedy showcases in Knoxville, including a two-day comedy festival in 2017 to raise funds for the ACLU.
Two of Shane's comedy buddies, and co-members of RainShine Comedy, will also perform at the show: Tyler Sonnichsen and Sean Simoneau. And, really, they're worth the price of admission on their own.
Every advance ticket purchased will include a free digital download of the album when it is released. Other advance ticket levels will include a copy of the CD or cassette when released.
There are two shows this evening! So, pick the one that works best for your schedule and join us for an evening of stand-up comedy at Knoxville's best venue for comedy, The Pilot Light in the historic Old City.
