Sometimes you have an idea about yourself and the way your life is going to go... then things change. Detour is a show about history, change, and becoming yourself.

Diana Dinerman is a writer, stand-up comedian, and actor. She performs comedy and essays all over Los Angeles. She trained at the Indiana University School of Music & Theater and the Studio Theater Conservatory in Washington, DC in addition to STEPS on Broadway and Cleo Parker Robinson. She held faculty positions at Joy of Motion Dance Center and the CityDance Center at Strathmore. She's received multiple grants for her scholarship on dance, race, and performance, including the DC Commission for the Arts and Humanities, the Humanities Council, and the Institute for Advanced Study at the University of Minnesota. She was an invited speaker at the Center for Gay & Lesbian Studies and the Western Historical Association. She's been a research fellow at the New York Public Library for the Performing Arts and the University of Southern California. She is a graduate of Indiana University and the George Washington University, and a drop out of the University of Minnesota.

Anne Hollister is a multi-hyphenate who recently transplanted to LA from New York City. She is a graduate of LaGuardia High School for the Performing Arts, Northwestern University, and the School at Steppenwolf. Her directorial credits include the 10th Anniversary production of CABERGAY at ACME Comedy, THE DAGGY KIDS, the short film IMPLICIT, and her web series CONVERSATIONS AT NIGHT. As an actor, Anne has appeared in the Broadway production of AUGUST: OSAGE COUNTY, the Fox Searchlight film CAN YOU EVER FORGIVE ME? directed by Marielle Heller, ONION NEWS NETWORK, STICKS, STRANGE ANGEL, and the forthcoming series EVERYONE IS DOING GREAT, directed by James Lafferty. She recently wrapped the short film THE GROUP CHAT, which she co-wrote with Pauline Chalamet. @mygirlanne

See What Sticks is a free, monthly workshop in Los Angeles where artists of all disciplines can present work at any stage in a blackbox theater. We offer the stakes of a deadline, the legitimacy of an audience, and the collaborative freedom of a workshop environment. This year, we launched our Creative Lab initiative, where we produce full-length projects that originated at our workshops. See What Sticks was founded in 2015 by Madeline Hendricks and Ilana Peña.
