After a mysterious decade-long hiatus, Olympia, Washington's OLD TIME RELIJUN are making a special surprise appearance in Santa Rosa with local support by The Acharis and Gender Trash
This event will be held at The Chop Shop (a private DIY space in downtown Santa Rosa). LIMITED CAPACITY - advance tickets recommended.

Old Time Relijun is a band founded in Olympia, Washington, United States and a longtime member of K Records. Current members consist of Germaine Baca on drums, Aaron Hartman on upright bass, Ben Hartman on saxophones, and Arrington de Dionyso on electric guitar, vocals and bass clarinet. They are currently based in Portland, Oregon.

THE ACHARIS (Oakland, CA)
Shaun Wagner and Mila Puccini formed The Acharis in 2015 after spending several years performing in different musical and artistic projects in Oakland, CA. They booked a tour of USA and Europe on the strength of their home recorded demo in and along the way signed deals with EXBTN records in Paris, France and Goth Horse Records in Oakland, CA.
"The musical aesthetic of this project is distinctly modern while referencing obvious elements of the past. I.E. Sonic Youth, Suicide, The Breeders, Mazzy Star, Big Black, The Byrds, Yo La Tengo, Pixies."

In the shadows of the psyche lurk monsters!
After a mysterious decade-long hiatus, Olympia, Washingtons OLD TIME RELIJUN return to the highway for a series of very special "23rd anniversary concerts" along the West Coast of the United States, with more dates in the works for 2019. They are reuniting in the classic "Catharsis in Crisis" lineup featuring bandleader Arrington de Dionyso with Aaron Hartman (upright bass), Germaine Baca (drums) and Benjamin Hartman (saxophone and percussion).
Water Rising! Fire Blinding! Old Time Relijun growls in animal languages with a tongue of fire, unleashing the beast from the tightest cages of corporate control. This is Liberation Music. This is the thunder-lightning-tidal-wave of Primordial Sound when we need it more than ever before.
Guided only by star-sheen and wild instinct, the songs of Old Time Relijun dig a tunnel through the murky depths a with burning hunger for indestructible life, embracing joy and terror with crisp juxtapositions between hypnotic pulse and jarring frenzy.
The band will introduce fans to new material in the midst of beloved favorites from the "Lost Light Trilogy" along with ancient sing-along hits such as "Vampire Victim", "Cold Water" and "Archaeopteryx Claw".
