'wildly flavoursome' - The Times 'there is plenty to savour at the boundary-smashing BE FESTIVAL' - The Guardian
BE Festival is Birmingham's international theatre festival. Now in our 4th year we have grown in reputation to become one of Birmingham and the UK's most innovative and exciting cultural events.
Following the celebrated BE formula, as well as getting the chance to see four 30 minute shows a night from the most exciting European theatre makers, there are also many opportunities for debate, feedback and exchange.
At our Grand Opening on Tuesday 2nd, we're presenting the World Premieres of full-length, finished versions of the two winning shows from 2012.
And from Wednesday to Saturday each evening offers a unique programme of four shows preceded and followed by live music and visual arts exhibitions/events.
We also have a very special, super-limited capacity event (remor) running 3 times a night Tuesday to Friday from 6pm, which is ticketed separately at £3.
In between the shows, the audience is invited to join the performers for a delicious hot dinner which you can also pre-book here, and each day at 3pm (12pm on Saturday and Sunday) you are invited to join all the companies as they discuss the work of the previous night over a slice of scrumptious home-made cake.
There are strictly limited numbers, so book your tickets and dinner passes soon to avoid disappointment.
Come and BE part of it.
