Alexander Elliott Miller: To....Oblivion! (standing room only)
This performance is part of the larger day of Conservancy Tours in the Fashion District of downtown Los Angeles, which are sold out. We are adding these standing room only admission times for those who would like to hear Alexs piece in this historic setting.
"TO...OBLIVION", Miller's work for solo electric guitar, electronics, and video, takes the audience on a visual and auditory tour of many of LA's historic landmarks, including the Belmont Tunnel, Dunbar Hotel, Anaheim's Center Street, Pike Amusement Park in Long Beach, Zanja Madre (LA's original water source), and the classic Tower Records on Sunset Boulevard. Millers carefully curated piece brings to light many of L.A.s forgotten gems, inspiring a renewed excitement in rediscovering the beautiful City of Los Angeles and its vibrant past.
As the complete tours of this event sold out almost immediately, we have worked with the Conservancy to add these special, standing room only admissions to Alex's performance in the penthouse of the historic Bendix Building on Maple in the heart of the Fashion District.
The Details:
- Tickets must be purchased in advance, sales will end on Friday, October 19th at 11:59pm.
- There will be no tickets sold at the door, and there will be no admission without a reservation.
- Your entrance time allows you into the performance for about 45 minutes, maximum one hour.
- This is a rolling performance that runs throughout the afternoon, you will hear some movements of the piece, but not the entire score. These tickets do not include any part of the Fashion District tours that are running that day.
