** TiCKET UPDATE as of 11/8: Due to the high demand, our Nov 9 and 10 performances are SOLD OUT. Attendees with extra tickets are expected to turn in extra tickets for re-sale at the door. We will do our best to fill any no-show/empty seats at 7:00pm for these last 2 performances. **

Samohi Theatre is excited to present the powerful play One Flew Over the Cuckoos Nest. Dale Wassermans 1963 stage adaption of Ken Keseys famous 1962 novel One Flew Over the Cuckoos Nest is insightful and riveting with hard-hitting social issues that remain both pertinent and unsettling. When it originally opened on Broadway in 1963, The New York Times called the play scarifying and powerful while The New York Times called it funny, touching and exciting. The movie version released in 1975 remains to this day one of only three films to have swept the top five categories at the Oscars.

Our Samohi Theatre actors will transport you into the world of a 1960s mental institution where you will experience the true meaning of madness and the value of self-reliance. With the arrival of patient Randle Patrick McMurphy, all the rules are about to be broken in a world where sanity means conformity and following the rules is the only way to survive.
