The Northern Virginia Jewish Film Festival, sponsored by the Jewish Community Center of Northern Virginia, will run April 18-28.
Film screenings April 19-28 will be held at Angelika Film Center & Cafe at Mosaic in Fairfax. The complete NVJFF schedule is posted at www.jccnvarts.org.
All-access festival pass (excluding opening and closing events) is $60. See twelve films: A Bottle in the Gaza Sea, An American Tail, Dorfman in Love, Hitler's Children, Kaddish for a Friend, Kinderblock 66, Koch, Let My People Go, Life in Stills, Orchestra of Exiles, Portrait of Wally and The World is Funny.
Single tickets are $9-$11 (purchase in advance online or at-the-door starting one hour before screening). Opening night event is $39. Closing night event is $13. A double feature ticket (two films on the same day) is $16 (available at the door only).
Support the Film Festival with a donation of Chai or Double Chai.
Various films will include a program following the screening; guests include Ben Peter (Life in Stills), Steven Moskovic (Kinderblock 66), James Siranovich (Orchestra of Exiles), Yael Ingel (A Bottle in the Gaza Sea), and Ori Soltes and Michael Hausfeld (Portrait of Wally).
