Nick Gravenites 80th Birthday Celebration and Fundraiser
Nick Gravenites is a blues legend who grew up on the south side of Chicago, who emigrated to California in the 1960s and played with Janis Joplin , Big Brother and the Holding Company, The Electric Flag, Mike Bloomfield, Elvin Bishop, Paul Butterfield, Howling' Wolf, Otis Rush and many more. He will be celebrating his 80th birthday with a star studded band of his friends including: The Ace of Cups, Annie Sampson, Harvey Mandel, Pete Sears, Barry (the Fish) Melton, Volker Strifler, Wavy Gravy, Peter Albin, Dave Getz, Gary Vogenson, Steve Barbieri and some very special surprise guests. Cold Beer, Fine Wine and food trucks will be available, along with a silent auction and opportunities to donate to the health and well being of this dear blues legend.
