All About Bette: An Interlude with Bette Davis

Marfa Live Arts and Starlight Entertainment will present All About Bette: An Interlude with Bette Davis, a play that celebrates the life and work of Bette Davis on Saturday, October 27 at the Crowley Theater.

Bette Davis entire life was a drama with comedic episodes. With nothing but raw talent and raw determination, she became the most famous woman in the world, taking on the Hollywood studio system, the FBI and the Catholic Church. In fact, she requested, SHE DID IT THE HARD WAY to be etched onto her tombstone.

All About Bette stars Morgana Shaw (Salem, Friday Night Lights, Walker Texas Ranger) who fully embodies and becomes Bette, sharing and revealing her tumultuous ride through the male dominated golden era of Hollywood. This multiple award-winning work was written by El Paso-based playwright Camilla Carr, and produced by seven-time Tony Award recipient, Michael A. Jenkins (An American in Paris, Matilda, The Color Purple and Kinky Boots.)
