CAROLS and LULLABIES - Tuesday, Dec. 11, 2018, 7:30 p.m.
Centretown United Church
This season's Christmas concert will have a Latin flavour. Carols and Lullabies will feature Conrad Susa's Christmas in the Southwest for chorus, harp, guitar and marimba, as well as other works with percussion accompaniment, and some Christmas carols and songs with a Latin beat. The audience will be dancing as they head out for their holiday preparations!
PSALMS and MOTETS - Sunday, March 3, 2019, 3 p.m.
St. Thomas the Apostle Anglican Church
Psalms always lend themselves to beautiful music, and this concert will feature sacred works from the Renaissance to the present day. Our program will include the first movement (Psalm 108 v2 and Psalm 100) of Leonard Bernstein's Chichester Psalms; Psalm 96, Cantate Domino, by Jan Sweelinck; Psalm 100 (O Be Joyful) by John Rutter; Salmo 150 by Ernani Aguair; and musical settings of three psalms (23, 47and 92) by Canadian composer Srul Irving Glick, all with piano accompaniment.
MOZART and MORE - Saturday, May 11, 2019, 7:30 p.m.
Dominion-Chalmers United Church
The centrepiece of our May concert will be Mozart's Requiem, one of the best-loved works in the choral repertoire. The choir will be accompanied by a small orchestra and will be joined by four guest soloists from the Ottawa area. This programming is in keeping with our plan to perform the masterworks with orchestra from time to time, for the enjoyment of both singers and audience.

Le concert de Noël de cette saison aura un petit côté latin. Le programme de Chants et berceuses comprendra Christmas in the Southwest de Conrad Susa pour choeur, harpe, guitare et marimba, ainsi que d'autres oeuvres accompagnées de percussions et quelques chants et chansons de Noël avec un rythme latin. Le public dansera alors quil met le cap sur les préparatifs des Fêtes!

La pièce maîtresse de notre concert de mai sera le Requiem de Mozart, une des oeuvres les plus appréciées du répertoire choral. Un petit orchestre nous accompagnera et quatre solistes invités de la région d'Ottawa se joindront à nous. Cette programmation reflète notre intention d'interpréter de temps à autre les grandes oeuvres chorales avec un orchestre, pour le plus grand plaisir des choristes et du public.
