SPIN: LOS ANGELES
Los Angeles, CA (August 10, 2018) The Broadwater Theater will host a charity performance of Nancy Healy's Spin this October. A story of violence, loss, love, forgiveness and fate. (Actually, it would be Bumbling Bard Creations is proud to announce the release of Nancy Ann Healys Spin, which will be performed at Gray Studios in Los Angeles on October 20, 2018 at 7:30 pm)
Spin explores the aftermath of a tragedy inflicted on two families, a tragedy that leads to an unexpected meeting between two people who were meant to be together. The story takes us on a journey through the fires of grief and anger and to the discovery of forgiveness and love from the point of view of the two affected families.
The play features Annie Tedesco (Bella and the Bulldogs, Granite Flats, The Secret Life of the American Teenager), Easton Alexeyev (Virtually Yours, To Feel Human, Supergirl), Austin Rising (The Battle of Buster Scruggs, Longmire, Hostiles), Kimleigh Smith (The Princess Diaries, Bad Words, Criminal Minds, Heroes), Chad Olson (Steam Room Stories, Wives with Knives), and Adoni Maropis (24, Hidalgo, The Scorpion King, Troy, Taken). The proceeds from the play will go to the World Without Hate and The New Hollywood charities. Founded by hate-crime survivor Rais Bhuiyan, World Without Hate is committed to creating a more just and accepting world by educating people on topics such as hate, violence, empathy and forgiveness.
The New Hollywood charity is founded by actress Brianna Brown and is dedicated to supporting socially conscious storytellers and change-makers. Tickets will go on sale September 1st and will cost $40 for general admission and $100 for VIP. Corporate, business, and individual sponsorships and donations in return for ad placement and VIP reception are also available.
