David and Libby of The Mustard's Retreat Trio in Concert
Libby Glover, who performed with Mustard's Retreat (Michael Hough and David Tamulevich) back in the mid-1970s, is thrilled to be back singing with the guys, making them a trio once again. As fate would have it, however, Michael is currently dealing with a family medical issue this spring and is unavailable for shows not near the group's Michigan home base. As sorry as they are that Michael can't perform with them, David and Libby are very excited about singing as a duo once again. "We have not done this since early 1975," David says. "We are totally enjoying the singing and putting shows together: some old songs, some new ones...it is all a joy!" Mustard's Retreat has been delighting audiences by telling stories for 40 years. Their music, like their stories, is witty, insightful, fun, and profound. In addition to being raconteurs and storytellers, they will give you things to laugh about for days to come and remember for years. New York City's Lincoln Center has cited Mustard's Retreat's "high energy, genuine warmth, funny songs, beautiful voices, and good spirits."
