50th Anniversary Chicano Student Movement Reunion
50 Years of Chicano Student Movement: Connecting the Past with the Present is the main theme of The 50th Anniversary Chicano Student Movement Reunion to be held on November 3, 2018 at San José State University's Student Union in San José, CA from 4:00 p.m. to 10 p.m. Our planning committee welcomes you to the 50th Anniversary of that era (1968-2018) when Chicano/a activists throughout the San José and Santa Clara region of Northern California, sought to bring social justice to the Latino community. As former college students of that time, and now elders, we seek to remember, record and disseminate our personal and group history of that time. We also will use these remembrances to support the current generation of Latino/a activists for social change.
