Explore the past during this one-hour guided tour of the Richardson Olmsted Campus grounds with American Sign Language (ASL) Interpretation. Visitors will be introduced to the genius of architect Henry Hobson Richardson, landscape architects Frederick Law Olmsted and Calvert Vaux, and mental health advocate Dr. Thomas Kirkbride, whose work collectively built the 145-year-old former state hospital facility.
During the tour, visitors will experience the healing landscape designed to serve as a therapeutic environment for patients.
This is an exterior-only tour. No buildings will be accessed.
